Virtual Performance Parts GbR was founded in the year 2005 by Jochen Lau, software developer and Alexander Mueller, lawyer.
They are both functioning as acting partners of the organisation. Together, they have more than 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, and especially in the device market. Their hardware knowledge has been growing continuosly.

In 1996 Jochen Lau imported steering wheels for the at that time actual CD-Based consoles to Germany . It didn't take long untill some “tuning-measures” were needed in order to satisfy the users needs. These solutions for existing products are not something VPP is still doing. These days own hardware solutions are the company's priority, and their own products are in the spotlight.

VPP aims to develop products that are user-orientated. Due to a close contact with the online racing scene VPP aims to offer products that are proven to be exactly what the end-user needs. Professional and experienced drivers are delivering feedback on beta products, and their feedback is directly used for the continuing development of the products.

VPP represents quality, stability and ergonomy. Due to the usage of solid and high quality materials, it is possible to produce products that set new benchmarks in stability and functionality combined with top notch quality.

The future of Virtual Performance Parts belongs to the development and production of a fully DirectX able steering wheel and a Racechair, which will set new standards in stability and functionality.
